How to Make a Rumpelstiltskin AI Video
Reviewed
Start with a readable character, a straw-filled setting and one simple tiptoe movement. This is our suggested workflow for making a new interpretation, not an authenticated account of how the original creators produced their clip.

Quick facts
- An image-to-video workflow uses a reference image and a motion prompt.Runway
- A 9:16 frame is vertical, while a 16:9 frame is landscape.
- A clear starting image lets a motion prompt focus on what the subject does next.Runway
- Our generator uses one dancer photo in You dance, or separate dancer and watcher photos in You and a friend. Both modes request 10 seconds at 768P in 9:16.
- Our generator handles its prompt automatically. The example below is for other tools and has not been validated as an exact reproduction of the meme.
1. Prepare a readable reference
Choose You dance for one dancer photo, or You and a friend for separate dancer and watcher photos. Use photos you have permission to upload, with one clear person in each image.
The photos guide the characters’ identities. Our preset supplies the fantasy setting, wardrobe and movement direction automatically; you do not need to prepare a complete scene or write a prompt.
2. Review the video format
Both modes in our Rumpelstiltskin AI video generator use a fixed vertical 9:16 frame. There is no separate frame or scene selector.
Review the credit quote for the 10-second, 768P request before submitting. Those settings describe the request; face preservation, role assignment and choreography still need to be checked in an actual result.
3. Let the preset direct the movement
Our generator builds the scene and motion prompt automatically, including the shush gesture, tiptoe dance and camera changes. You do not need to enter or edit that prompt. In You and a friend, the second photo is the watcher’s identity reference.
When using another tool with an editable prompt, start with a simple motion description such as the example below. Runway’s official image-to-video guide separates the visual starting image from the motion description. This is useful general guidance; it does not establish which model created the original meme.
A mischievous fairy-tale character takes small, exaggerated tiptoe steps across a straw-covered barn. Full body remains visible. The camera stays still. Warm lantern light, faded colors and a soft vintage fantasy-film texture.Runway4. Review the movement before adding more
Watch the whole result. Check whether the feet stay attached, the face remains recognizable and the hands read correctly. In You and a friend, check that the dancer and watcher keep their assigned identities.
If you want a story with several beats, make separate shots and edit them together. Keep the reference, wardrobe and lighting consistent between attempts. This is an editing approach, not a promise of automatic continuity.
5. Add audio and an honest caption
The meme is commonly paired with Riff Raff’s “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz.” Our preset does not supply a licensed copy. Check the posting platform’s music options and the terms that apply to your account and use.
Describe the result as AI-generated or as your own remake. A useful caption tells the joke without presenting a new synthetic video as a recovered scene from a real film.
